Evergreen's Vince Cordova has an interest in sports medicine, or becoming a doctor.  Right now though, he's concentrating on helping the Wolverines in as many track and field events as possible while still excelling in the classroom. Vince Cordova is the latest edition to the Sylvan A-Team.

As an athlete at Evergreen High School, Vince played wide receiver and tight end for the football team, but it's in track and field where his individual talents shined through last spring.

Cordova qualified for the high jump, triple jump and long jump.

In the classroom, Vince carries a 3.8 grade point average. He's had scholarship offers from many of the ivy league schools - and furthers his education by taking college courses through the Running Start program.

Vince has decided to go to the University of Washington next year where he will walk on as a wide receiver for the Husky football team.
