His grade point average is 3.5. He's the senior class president.  And his classes include advanced placement English, civics, calculus and advanced biology.  He's also pretty good on the track.  This week, Foster's Andrew Ayala joins the Sylvan A-Team.

Sometimes in life you need to change your routine. Andrew ayala would certainly subscribe to that theory.

He had always been a top student, but never involved himself in athletics until the ninth grade.

Four years later, Ayala has lettered in three sports at Foster: Track and field, wrestling and football.

This spring you can catch Andrew out on the track leaping in a single bound over the hurdles.

There is no doubt Ayala has enjoyed the benefits of balancing homework with academics.

Andrew has been accepted to both Western Washington and PLU.  Whichever school he decides on, Andrew would like to study business, and maybe run his own one day.
