Wilson High School's Brady Ryan is an offensive lineman big in stature - and bigger in the classroom when he takes all advanced placement and honors classes.

Brady Ryan's latest honor is that he's just been named to the Sylvan A-Team.

When we said Ryan's a big guy, we meant it. He's 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds. He's also a 4.0 student.

Being big is a definite advantage, but Ryan says agility and balance are also key. They're two things offensive linemen are constantly working on.

Academically, Ryan has a plan to stay local. He'd like to attend a smaller liberal arts college somewhere in the area and perhaps play football.

For a career, his dream job would be to be a sports anchor on a show like Monday Night Football.
