Julia Sievert has been a varsity volleyball starter at Nathan Hale for three seasons and she was the MVP in 2005.  She puts up big numbers on the hardwood, but it's the numbers off the court that allows her to become a member of the Sylvan A-Team.

Julia is a senior and co-captain on the Nathan Hale volleyball team where she plays the position of outside hitter. She has a perfect 4.0 GPA solidifying her as a leader on and off the court.

Julia likes playing volleyball because it's a sport she can enjoy with a group of people. She's been playing since sixth grade.

Her favorite classes are art and history, but she hopes her dream job will have something to do with enjoying the great outdoors. She does conservation work with the student conservation association and spends a lot of time in national parks.

Julia is one of six student-athletes on the volleyball team who have A 4.0 grade point average.
