Numbers are a big part of Ernie Child's life.  He plays three sports, has a 3.5 GPA, and likes to hang 10.  Ernie Child joins the Sylvan A-Team.

Ernie plays football and baseball at Cedarcrest High School, but it's the sport of surfing that holds a special place in his heart. Child climbed onto his first board at the age of 8.

His parents lived in Hawaii where his dad worked in construction, so whole family took up surfing.

School is also a top priority for Ernie who hopes to one day follow in his dad's footsteps and work in the construction field or construction management or architecture.

Ernie's sports prospects also look good - he's gotten looks from college baseball programs including Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Stanford, Dartmouth and PLU.
