McClelland hit 7 of 10 shots and his two free throws with just under 3 minutes left in the game gave the Redskins (22-1) the lead for good at 38-36. Port Townsend trailed 25-16 at the half and by four after three quarters. The Redskins were 9 of 15 from the field in the second half to help pull ahead down the stretch. The Eagles (15-9) were hoping to join their girls team in the quarterfinals. They turned the ball over 17 times, two coming in the final 45 seconds. Jordan Lupfer-Graham led West Valley with 15 points. He hit two 3-pointers and was 7 of 10 from the free-throw line.
