TOP STORIESKey is the key in getting Mark Morris to the semifinals09:38 PM PST on Thursday, March 6, 2008TACOMA, Wash. - Senior guard Jeray Key scored 23 points and Eric Hutchison added 13 points and 11 rebounds as hot-shooting Mark Morris beat Clarkston 67-53 Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A boys state tournament. The Monarchs (23-3), who lost to Lynden in last year's 2A title game, won their 19th straight. They did so by shooting 55 percent. Key was 8 of 11 from the field and Hutchison was 5 of 9. Matt Trautman scored 10 points and Jyles Petersen added nine, all on 3-pointers. The Bantams (17-7) fell behind early and trailed by as many as 21 points. Dustin McConnell led the way with 17 points, including three 3-pointers. Drew Hansen scored 11, but Clarkston was just 17 of 58 from the field (29 percent).
