Belleville East’s Thomas Poston is the HS Gametime Player of the Week.

The man with the golden touch didn't just hit the amazing buzzer-beater for the Lancers, but also led them in scoring with 18 points.

Poston also did well on the offensive and defensive boards to help east beat their crosstown rival in front of a crowed of 2,200 Friday night.

Poston doesn't score a ton of points, but takes up a lot of space underneath. He is the leading rebounder for the lancers, with 6.6 per game.

Belleville East has won seven in a row and moved up to third in the Southwestern Conference standings. 

They next take on Edwardsville this Friday.
