1. BELLEVILLE EAST The Lancers are lead by Britney Adams and are one of the favorites to win a state title.
2. EDWARDSVILLE Anya Covington returns for the Tigers this season. They look to improve upon their quarterfinal appearance last season.
3. HAZELWOOD EAST Last year the Spartans came up short in the title game. Channon Haywood looks to change that this winter.
4. INCARNATE WORD The Red Knights lost a lot of talent from last year's team but they always seem to reload.
5. BREESE CENTRAL Last year's state champions will still be good even through some senior losses.
6. NERINX HALL The Markers shocked Missouri when they beat Incarnate Word in the playoffs. Won't be sneaking around this year.
7. ST. DOMINIC Last year the Crusaders went 27-3. They return Sarah Schnieders who will try to lead them past their 4th place finish of last season.
8. EAST ST. LOUIS It always seems the Flyers have talent and are there in the end. Last year they were 21-6.
9. ALTHOFF Alisha Goodwin returns to a team that finished 20-9 last season.
10. CIVIC MEMORIAL Katie Broadway shot lights out last year with 23 points a game. Look for more of the same this year.
