1. EAST ST. LOUIS (11-1) The Flyers move up to the #1 slot after beating Geneva in their quarterfinal game on Saturday 34-28. East St. Louis will play at Wheaton on Saturday for the right to play in the state championship.
2. PARKWAY CENTRAL (10-1) The Colts took care of Normandy 35-14 in their first game. Gets much more difficult with Timberland on Monday Night.
3. MICDS (10-0) The Rams beat Miller Career 16-8 in an ugly first round matchup. Face New Madrid County Central on Monday at CBC. Will have to win another game Saturday to make the state championship.
4. EUREKA (9-1) The Wildcats sat at home for the playoffs. That is a shame.
5. KIRKWOOD (9-1) The Pioneers were #1 for most of the season but were totally shutdown by Waynesville at home on Friday night. Only have the Turkey Day game against Webster Groves to look forward to.
6. TIMBERLAND (10-1) Montee Ball had another huge night against Fort Zumwalt North. Should be a great running back matchup against Jordan Myles on Monday.
7. MAPLEWOOD (11-0) The Blue Devils beat Hermann 22-7 in their first playoff game. Has a rematch with Crystal City on Monday. They won the first game 26-7.
8. MEHLVILLE (9-2) The Panthers looked very impressive beating SLUH 39-14. Will travel to Pattonville on Friday to play for their ticket to the state championship.
9. DESMET (8-2) The Spartans beat a very good Fort Zumwalt West team at home. Will need every break possible to beat Rockhurst on Friday night.
10. PATTONVILLE (7-4) Percy Calicutt "only" had 4 Touchdowns and 238 yards rushing in their playoff victory over Lafayette 51-21.
