HS GAMETIME Power Rankings 11/25/07

1. EAST ST. LOUIS (11-2)

 The Flyers were the strongest team in the area this season and finish on top of our power rankings.

2. MEHLVILLE (10-3)

 The Panthers lost in the state final 28-9 but gave Rockhurst fits in the first half.  A great run to end the season.

3. PARKWAY CENTRAL (12-2)

 A bad ending for the Colts in their state championship game but an unexpected successful season.

4. KIRKWOOD (10-1)

 The Pioneers rolled in the Turkey Day game over Webster Groves.   They were as strong as anybody this season.

5.  MICDS (12-1)

 No shame in taking your only loss of the season in the state championship.

6. COLUMBIA (12-2)

 The Eagles also lost in their state championship game but had a wonderful run in the playoffs.

7. EUREKA (9-1)

 The Wildcats sat home for the playoffs.   That is a shame.

8. MAPLEWOOD (12-1)

 This year's Blue Devils team put Maplewood on the football map in the area.

9. TIMBERLAND (10-2)

 Montee Ball was one of the top players in the area this year.

10. DESMET (8-3)

 The Spartans lose a lot of top level seniors off this team for next year.
