(KMOV) – Alton high basketball standout Ruben Cotto says he could not resist the opportunity to play for SLU’s Rick Majerus, so today he signed a letter of intent to play for the Billikens.

The 6 foot tall, 170 pound point guard is originally from Florida, says he was contacted by Kentucky, Iowa, Iowa State and Purdue, but decided to stay in the area.
