(AP) -- Concord Triopia ran its way to the Class 1A state football title after piling up 410 yards on 63 carries in a 42-7 victory over Stark County at Memorial Stadium on Friday. Running back David Arendt led the charge with 159 yards on 19 carries and a pair of touchdowns. Quarterback Kellan Phelps added 66 yards on the ground and a pair of touchdowns. Triopia (14-0) won its second state football title. The Trojans also won the 1A crown in 1975. Stark County (10-4) knocked on the door early but fumbled the ball on the Triopia 10. Defensive back Tim Wise recovered, and the Trojans went on an 11-play, 90-yard drive highlighted by Phelps' 32 yard-run and his 2-yard scoring plunge. The Trojans scored on their next two drives to put the game away. They had a 22-0 halftime lead and out-rushed the Rebels 299-2 in the opening half. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press.
