LOUIS (AP) -- Mack Kyle runs for 110 yards and a score and passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns as Webb City beats Jefferson City Helias 41-34 on Saturday to win the Class 4 state championship. Webb City (15-0) built a 21-7 lead before Helias (12-2) scored three unanswered touchdowns to take a 27-21 lead into the fourth quarter. The Cardinals regained the lead on a 32-yard touchdown pass from Kyle to Austin Daniels, but the extra point attempt was blocked and the game stayed tied at 27-27. Kyle then put Webb City up 33-27 on a 15-yard run with 8:50 left in the game, but the 2-point conversion failed. Helias went back on top with a 9-yard touchdown run by Brad Wilson to make it 34-33 with 6:54 remaining. Braxton Baker's 2-yard touchdown run with 2:35 left put Webb City on top for good. Helias quarterback Jay Shimmens completed 9-of-21 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Shimmens also ran the ball 24 times for 40 yards and another score.
