(AP) -- Bradley Beal had 30 points and Chaminade outlasted Grandview for an 80-70 victory in the Class 5A boys state championship game Saturday night. Brandon Hannah had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Brandon Lockhart scored 14 of his 21 points in the second half to give Chaminade (27-4) its first state championship. Grandview's Alec Burks matched Beal nearly shot for shot in the first half, with the pair combining for 34 points as Chaminade took a one-point lead. Beal got more help down the stretch, though, and Chaminade pulled away in the fourth quarter by hitting its free throws.
