LOUIS (AP) -- Jake Nolan threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third as Cassville beat Cardinal Ritter 31-7 in the Missouri Class 3 high school football championship game on Friday. Jon Haney ran for 108 yards and one touchdown for the Wildcats (12-3) as they claimed their first state title. Cardinal Ritter (13-2) scored its lone touchdown on a 5-yard run by Trey Perry with 7:17 left in the second quarter. Cassville took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter as Nolan hit Trevor Tanner with a 53-yard scoring pass with 5:53 remaining and Nolan's 10-yard touchdown pass to Joseph Guovion with 11 seconds left.
