ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Wednesday was a day of reckoning on college football’s national signing day, the official day recruits can sign letters of intent.
The Missouri Tigers signed 25 players to scholarships, including a player rated among the very best in the nation.
Sheldon Richardson of Gateway Tech High School announced this morning that he's headed to Columbia. There was some concern that he might go to Miami.
Richardson is a defensive lineman, 5-star recruit, 6-4, 292 pounds, and played very well in the national all-star game.
One player the Tigers wanted but didn't get was St. Louis University High School running back Ronnie Wingo.
Wingo committed to the University of Arkansas and was considered the best running back in the state.
