(AP) -- A Belleville high school has hired from within to replace a legendary football coach. Ken Turner, 37, is taking over for Glenn Schott, who retired last November after 37 years on the job. Turner is a seven-year assistant at Althoff Catholic High School. In 47 years of coaching, Schott went 245-127-and-6, with his win total ranking 13th all-time in state history. He was Althoff's coach from 1971 through last season, winning state titles in 1980, 1989 and 1990. When introduced Monday as the school's new coach, Turner said he feels as if Schott has put the football in his hands.
