03/02/2009Coach Ryan: This week in prep sports A Freeze out that had a red-hot ending was at Ft Zumwalt South. With star Cody Sorenson on the bench due to an injury, the Francis Howell staff decided to slow things down. They did just that! It was 13-9 Howell at the halftime buzzer. The Bulldogs opened up a modest lead 24-21 lead at the end of three quarters. The crowd went into a frenzy.

Eight of the best bands landed in the spotlight at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, November 27th in downtown St. Louis. The bands were judged in a number of different areas, and when the final votes were tallied, Belleville East took top honors.
