In their 44 - 0 victory over Rincon, Ironwood Ridge relied heavily on two of their runningbacks for a combined 6TDs.

D'Juan Cherry had 15 carries for 172 yds and 5 Touchdowns all in the first half giving Ironwood Ridge the majority of their points and a comfortable lead heading into halftime.

In the second half of the game, Adrian Ruiz took over the running game for 173 yards over 10 carries and an additional TD. Coach Gary Minor called one of his 3rd quarter runs, "probably the best individual run we've had this year."

Their combined efforts averaging 14 yards per carry is what makes D'Juan and Adrian perfect candidates for our Players of the Week.
