Senior Center Austin Smith helped Ironwood Ridge to become the first Tucson school since 1982 to win a 5A State Basketball Title.

A big reason was senior center Austin Smith, who is this weeks Hsgametime.com Subway player of the week.

Smith scored 19 points in the Nighthawks come from behind victory over Marcos deNiza.

The biggest story behind the victory was that Ironwood Ridge was down 17-2 late in the first quarter.
