TOP STORIESPV's Adam Hall commits to UA11:13 AM MST on Friday, January 30, 2009He's among the best college football prospects to come out of a Tucson high school in several years and today Adam Hall says he'll play his college ball at the University of Arizona.
Courtesy: Palo Verde High School Hall had narrowed his choices to Arizona, the University of California-Berkeley and the University of Oregon, all members of the Pacific 10 conference. He had kept his choice very much a secret prior to the announcement. Hall has collected a trophy case full of awards. He was just named a Parade Magazine All-American, he played this year in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio and was named to the Army's All-American team, he received Player of the Year awards this year from multiple area news outlets and twice has been named to the Arizona Football Coaches Association First Team All-State. At Arizona, Hall could become an offensive threat as a freshmen. He has excelled at Palo Verde both in running and passing plays from scrimmage, but also as kick-return threat. He has also played on the defensive side of the ball as a safety. It's possible, though no one at the UA has discussed this, Hall could play both offense and defense. That's very unusual in today's Division 1 college football. Full details on Hall's announcement tonight on the Fox 11 Sports Force at 9 p.m. |
